It’s not a relationship we are born into.
It’s so much more…

“a sister thing…llc” was formed in memory of a sister who had to move on.

Our mission is to remind every woman that she has “sisters” everywhere, those she can see, and those she can’t.

Some of the “sisters” shown on this web site happen to have the same parents. But many have actually CHOSEN the sisters with whom they are seen. They’ve discovered mutual goals and dreams, trust and respect, and have established bonds. (They may be lifelong bonds, or they may be for a time that they are needed and meant to be…)

Challenging an old cliché – “You can pick your friends but not your family,” we are honoring sisters of all types – the ones we are given and the ones we choose.
